International Student House (ISH) not only acting unethically but also it is encouraging youths to experience sex, smoke and consume junk food away from parents in its halls of residence. These stimulating series of words are chosen irresponsibly and building a wrong culture and self-justification of this unethical charity is meaningless. International Students House (ISH) needs to be overseen by relevant regulators particularly that this so called “charity” is promoting binge drinking and sex between youths. There is enough evidence against this unethical and irresponsible charity organisation if regulators and the media look for them; limited examples are provided on this site.
The ultimate effort of smoking ban is discouraging by many organisations, such as International Student House (ISH) by allowing cigarette vending machines in operations within its halls of residence; where hundreds of students from all over the world staying over nights and days. They accommodate youths in their properties but unfortunately do not consider their health properly. Moreover, there are couple unhealthy snack vending machines in operation too
Who is checking those youths’ ID when they are purchasing Cigarettes from vending machines?
Youths from different countries need to be taught about culture and values of this country. They need to be told how harmful smoking is, rather than facilitating the process of buying cigarettes, particularly in which situation there is no mature control over their behaviour; since they see being alone or in a group of friends as an opportunity to try many exotic and sometimes dangerous things. Some of those youths are extremely vulnerable, thus generating revenue and increasing profit out off them seems against social responsibilities norms. After 09:00 pm many of foreign youths are sitting outside International Students House (ISH) halls of residence in Regents Park and smoking cigarettes; a few of them look really under 16 year old. These cigarette vending machines can be even used by local children who are under 16 year old when they need to buy cigarettes.
International Students House (ISH) also promotes alcoholic drinks to those who stay in its halls of residence or visit their bar and cafe by using picture of celebrities with words which in a way promote binge drink.
Surprising enough this unethical and irresponsible charity organisation is not bothered to care about what it is publishing and sending out to students to read. Importantly, it does not deem to be any permission in place from any of those celebrities they use in their in-house advertising. According to this “print ad”, International Students House (ISH) sells alcohol in its bar CHEAPER than a bottle of water in its “restaurant”, which is in a dark depressing basement. But the bar is well-lit and even cleaner than the restaurant. Normally its staff get their food from the restaurant in the basement and take it to bar to eat. The reason is obvious!
International Students House (ISH) is simply encourages sex and binge drinking amongst youths, in midst of days that the EU and UK governments and families fighting to teach dignity and self respect to youths; in order to enhance cultural values and keep the society in order. Therefore, International Students House (ISH) causes conflicts in the society and mis-educates the vulnerable public. Needless to say that cheap drinks at this place benefit International Students House (ISH). Below is one of their publications again.
This not very responsible “charity” organisation has now problem of losing customers for their conference venues and try every loop to get more customers and cover the costs they create. For example spending £000’s on something which makes the public to think how a “charity” organisation can dare to manipulate and attempt to evolve the truth.
Please be aware of such organisations when making any business partnership decisions. A wrong decision may cost you a lot including your reputation and publicity. For instance, this profit-minded charity organisation is sending UNWANTED emails to addressees whom are NOT subscribed with this unethical and irresponsible charity organisation.
